Museum Visits
Our museums offer a unique opportunity to learn about the history of Suomenlinna. You can book a guided tour to learn more about the stories of the museum.
At the Ehrensvärd Museum, you’ll experience the atmosphere of the past on a journey back to the 18th century. The beautiful interior of the museum tells the story of customs during the era of the enlightenment, science and arts.
The Suomenlinna Museum invites you to discover the fascinating history of Suomenlinna. The museum familiarizes you with the fortress’s story from the construction works to the present day. A film shown at the museum auditorium recounts the fortress’s story every half hour.
Lunch Break
You can choose from several restaurants and cafes for a delicious lunch or snack at Suomenlinna. The menus include a wide range of meals from traditional home-cooked dishes to tasty pizzas!
During the summer season, from May to September, groups can also enjoy their own packed lunches in the picnic shed.

Arrival
Suomenlinna is accessible all year round by Helsinki Region Transport Authority´s, HSL , ferry or during the summer season by the FRS waterbus from Helsinki Market Square.
As part of your excursion day, we can arrange tickets for the seasonal waterbus. Private transportation can also be arranged through us.
